Had a great knowledge-sharing session with Mr. Moinul Islam Titash, former Additional Secretary, Ministry of Science & Technology, and former Director of BORI (Bangladesh Oceanographic Research Institute).
We explored a key question: how do we move innovation beyond ideas and into real, scalable commercial impact in Bangladesh?
One thing became very clear—we must build stronger bridges between research, industry, and policy. We also discussed the untapped power of our diaspora. Many talented Bangladeshi researchers and professionals are ready to collaborate—we just need the right platform to connect them.
His insights on the future of the blue economy were particularly exciting. Bangladesh has immense potential in this space, and with the right direction, it can become a major driver of growth.
