BIDA Presentation & White Paper Submission

The Cordinato team recently delivered a presentation before the Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and other senior officials, highlighting the strategic importance of commercializing irradiation technology in Bangladesh.

During the session, a comprehensive white paper was formally handed over, outlining the economic, industrial, and technological potential of irradiation applications across multiple sectors.

The presentation emphasized how irradiation technology can play a transformative role in:

• Agriculture and food preservation
• Medical equipment sterilization
• Pharmaceutical processing
• Semiconductor applications
• Polymer and advanced material industries

The discussion focused on the need for developing commercial irradiation infrastructure to strengthen Bangladesh’s industrial competitiveness, export capabilities, food safety standards, and technological advancement.

The session also highlighted the importance of coordinated collaboration between government institutions, industry stakeholders, investors, and research organizations to accelerate the implementation and commercialization of irradiation-based solutions in the country.
