Technical Consultation with BAEC on Advancing Commercial Irradiation Infrastructure in Bangladesh

A strategic meeting was held between Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman Munshi, Director (Scientific Information Unit) and Chief Scientific Officer at the Atomic Energy Research Establishment (AERE), Savar, under the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC), and Abid Hossain Khan, CEO of Cordinato.

The discussion focused on exploring the potential development of a commercial irradiation facility in Bangladesh, aimed at strengthening the country’s capabilities in advanced technology applications across key sectors.

Dr. Munshi shared valuable technical perspectives on the current capabilities and research initiatives within BAEC, highlighting the potential for leveraging existing knowledge and infrastructure to support future commercial applications.
